The may be one of the most difficult times of my life as we celebrate the life and legacy of my absolutely brilliant and amazing cousin.
Dee-Dee shaped my life in the deepest ways. She was my family, friend, mentor, and inspiration. She was a star, that shined brightly for 90 years and now lights the sky for eternity.
I will miss our daily talks, sometimes multiple times a day, our visits, celebrations and debates more than words can say. You were there for every season of my life, always inspiring, encouraging and cheering me on. I’m so grateful that we were there for you when you needed us and that our bond stood the test of time.
You were the standard! Your lessons, your love, and your legacy will stay with me forever. I will honor you in all I do.
