Obituary of Isaiah "Bubbles" Forman
Please share a memory of Isaiah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Isaiah Forman was born on July 21, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the beloved
son of the late Maggie Moon and the late Thomas A. Keys.
Affectionately known as "Bubbles," Isaiah departed this life on January 21, 2026, after
a brief illness. His passing reflected a life well-lived-one filled with love, purpose, and
peace. He was ready for his homegoing and transitioned with a calm spirit.
Isaiah accepted Christ at a very young age and faithfully attended United Baptist Church.
In his youth, he even considered becoming a minister, a reflection of his strong spiritual
foundation.
He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Paul
Laurence Dunbar High School in 1967. Shortly after, he was drafted into the United
States Army during the Vietnam War, where he served honorably and received an
Honorable Discharge.
Isaiah was a proud member of the Sigma Phi Sigma Fraternity. He and his fraternity
brothers organized fundraisers for Morgan State College and planned memorable trips
to New York and Wildwood, New Jersey. He also participated in the historic Million Man
March.
Bubbles enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved playing basketball and football, and he found
great joy in relaxing on a boat while fishing. His interests were wide-ranging-traveling,
listening to jazz, going to the movies, photography, cooking, attending concerts,
enjoying the annual Turkey Bowl, and entertaining at home. He stayed well informed and
was always ready for a good conversation about current events or sports.
Bubbles had an easygoing spirit. He saw the best in people and took them at face value.
When someone proved to be untrue, he quickly recognized it, but he never lost his
kindhearted nature. He was loving, supportive, and known for a warm, welcoming smile
that drew people to him.
Family and friendship meant everything to Bubbles. He was always there when needed.
He and his brother James shared three lifelong friends-Frank, Fred, and Monk Gilliamwhose
remarkable friendship has endured for more than sixty years.
Isaiah worked for Eastern Stainless Steel for several years before continuing his career at
Procter & Gamble in 1987. He retired from Procter & Gamble in 2011 after many years
of dedicated service.
On May 10, 2013, Isaiah married Gina Morrison, who became the love of his life. Isaiah
adored his wife, and their bond was strong, genuine, and enduring. Through their union,
he gained a daughter, Ge'na.
From his first marriage to Bernadette Stewart Bubbles gained a daughter, Kes'ha
and two sons, Eric and Bryan. He and Gina were blessed to share in the love of all
his stepcnildren. Gina often said that Isaiah "raised two families " a testament to his
devotion. When Kes'ha married, she proudly had both of her "Dads" walk her down the
aisle.
