While I missed the opportunity to grow up with my cousin, I was blessed by the warmth, love and welcoming spirit of family he and Jenn gave me when we met in 2024. After our meeting he always kept in touch sharing the pride and concern he carried for his family and offering an uplifting Word of Faith.
I will deeply miss his genuine, generous, kind open hearted spirit and the chance to show him the home places in Windsor NC.

Q: How did you meet David?
A: I met Dave when I sold him his beach home and he quickly became a fixture in the community. When I saw him walking his dogs I enjoyed a quick chat as he was always interested in how many we sold that month and if he was earning equity. I loved that about him. He had such a good mind for business and a great sense of humor. He’ll be missed.

I’ve been friends with David since high school, my father adored him! Not only was he brilliant and a wonderful entrepreneur, he was so so kind and well rounded. He had an incredible zest for life and all of his friends and of course his mother, wife and beautiful 3 children! To my dear friend David,
I first met you as my neighbor, when your little Doggie would run over and come in my house to see my dogs. Then we became workmates… It took some convincing for you to hire me in the mortgage business so I could get my start as a loan originator. You were always there to help and guide. Friendship came later, we were both living the single life. Oh the fun we had,…. hanging at our favorite watering holes in Canton and the Harbor, Sunday morning breakfast at little Havana with endless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. David, you were such a great guy, a gentle giant with a kind heart, you would help anyone. You were a man of faith, and it showed in the way you moved in the world.… Gone too soon!
