Carol Janet Bailey, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 8, 2026, after a life well lived. Mrs. Bailey was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 14, 1941. She had been employed as a Correctional Officer for the State of Maryland prior to retirement. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, in the chapel of the Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services-East, Baltimore, Maryland 21212. The wake will begin at 10:00 am with homegoing service to follow beginning at 10:30 am.
The burial will follow the services in Arbutus Memorial Park.
