John Arthur Fayall was born on December 14, 1946, to the late Brutus and Beaulah Middleton Fayall in St. Stephen (Berkeley County), South Carolina. John was called home on December 15, 2025, at home, a day after his 79thBirthday in Baltimore, MD after a lengthy illness. John attended Berkely County Public Schools, graduating from Russellville High School where he attended with family and making lifelong friends. John left St. Stephen, SC in 1966, landing in Baltimore, MD where he currently resided. John was a faithful and dedicated worker of Luzianne Tea and Coffee Company for more than 50 years, retiring in 2008. John was affectionately known as "Red", and he was a quiet yet Influential man. John was a skillful, building things from his bare hands, inheriting carpentry from his father, and having a green thumb, maintaining plants for years. John was a stylish man, always sharp, wearing dress clothes daily, including his tailored suits and hats, he made an impression in every room he entered. Jonn married the Love of his life on July 2, 1972, Pauline(Coleman) Fayall . John and Pauline loved to travel, party and socialize, hosting tons of family and friends. From their union they had one child, Patricia and their loving granddaughter, Jadaya Cason. John accepted Christ at an early age, he was baptized and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Alvin, SC. He was a member of Israel Baptist Church and sang on the Choir. John was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Best, his loving parents Brutus and Beaulah Middleton Fayall, eight brothers, Cleveland Fayall, Alonzo Fayall, Oscar Lee Fayall, Ollie Lee Fayall, Levi Fayall, Walter Fayall Sr, Elroy Fayall Sr, and Robert Lee Fayall; and two sisters: Queen Esther Hartwell and Lu Bertha Washington. John leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pauline Fayall, his grand-daughter Jadaya (Ron) Cason, Lee William Fayall and Nolie (Daisy) Fayall, one sister, Johnnie Ruth (Robert) Sumpter; Four sisters/brothers in Love, Buelah (Jack) Brown, Naomi Squire, Elizabeth (Martin) Molock and Shriley (George -preceded in death) Bryant; a sister in law preceded in death Stella Rouse and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
