Obituary of Oliver Anthony Bryan

Oliver Anthony Bryan May 3, 1963 – December 12, 2025 Oliver Bryan, affectionately known as "Big O," passed away on December 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center, following complications from a spinal cord injury he sustained in 2024. Oliver lived life boldly and unapologetically. He was known for his fighting spirit, his honesty, and his unwavering commitment to being his authentic self. He spoke his mind, stood firm in his truth, and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Music was one of Oliver's greatest joys. It carried him through every season of life and reflected who he was at his core. He took great pride in his Jamaican heritage, which shaped his values, culture, and love for rhythm and community, while his New York state of mind influenced his grit, confidence, and unmistakable edge. Oliver was proceeded in death by his mother (Pansy Ross). He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: his loving sister, (Antoinette Johnson); her husband (Richard); their son (Dorian); their daughter (Jenahye); Aunt (Yvonne Ferguson); uncle (Dennis Ennis); and a large circle of cousins, extended family and friends who will forever cherish his presence, his voice, and his big spirit. On Saturday, December 27, 2025, a memorial service will be held at The Vaughn Greene Chapel at Randallstown, 8728 Lbiberty Road, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with services to follow. Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life Oliver lived and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
