Bishop Dr. Willie Owen Pittman, age 81, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025, after a life well lived. Bishop Pittman was born on April 7, 1944 in North Carolina. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.
Family and friend will honor Bishop Pittman's life with a public viewing on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
The Homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, in the sanctuary of New Beginning Highway Church of Christ, 3100 W. North Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21216 where the wake will begin a 10:30am with the service to follow at 11:00am.
The burial will follow the service in Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21208.
