Obituary of Aurelia May Croslin

Aurelia May Croslin, age 99, was called home peacefully on August 28, 2025 at Sunrise Assisted Living facility. Born in Baltimore on April 19, 1926, to Myrtle Beatrice Williams and John Burke, she had one sibling, Robert "Sonny" Williams (deceased). She was the product of the Baltimore public schools and the Community College of Baltimore. Aurelia spent many years working for the health department and becoming a trainer for newly hired employees. She served senior citizens joyfully until she finally retired. She was mom to two sons, Nana to three grandsons and three granddaughters, and "grandma" to Ayanda and Nirvana Sookdeo and family. She is survived by her sons, Everett (Barbara) and Robert (Dyann); grandsons Everett Jr., Errance, and Chike; granddaughters Kigen, Julia, and Jerilyn; great-granddaughters Mariah, Kalie, and Jeneal; nephews Ronald and Randy; nieces Jean, Joann, and Jackie; and closest lifelong cousins Sonya Carney Brown, Shirley Williams Blackwell, Theresa Carney Lyon, and Dwight "Chuck" Carney. Many loving cousins and dear friends will forever cherish her memory.
