Q: What will you never forget about Susan?
A: Dear Pam,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom. She was the epitome of a classy woman. I remember her most for her mink coats that personified her glamourous style. Her coats were an expression of her vibrant personality. I also remember the time we went to Owings Mills mall to her favorite store, Nordstroms. Your mother was such a special person. I will never forget her warm smile and kind heart.

Dear Mel and Pam,
I’m deeply sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She was such a special person, and I have so many fond memories of her from our childhood. Especially eating her delicious meals. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone around her. Please know that I’m here for you during this difficult time. May your mom rest in eternal peace with your dad. Their love story is one for the ages. Mickey and the entire Williams Family

I met Mother Susan Smith nearly 25 years ago. I united with the New Shiloh Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. As I stood at eh alter with the late Dr. Harold A. Carter, Sr. He stated, " Do yo see the lady with the beautiful white hat, I want you to sit right behind her and introduce yourself. I did exactly that and became close instantly and remain till this day. I lost my biological mother 1 year ago as of September 20, 2025. I had no idea Mrs. Smith would fall into eternal sleep 1 yr after my mom. The final mother figure in my life. Her passing as truly set me back. Mrs. Smith passed the day after my moms birthday and being funeralized on the same date as my mom last year. Say hello to my mom and your guys continue to rest in peach together. My mom, my dad, Mother Susan Smith and Mr. Smith

One of the requests that Susan often mention was to have the choir to sing “Let Mt Zion Rejoice at her life service. The last words of that anthem moved her “He will be our guide even unto death.” She now knows the truth of those words. Rest well, friend.
