Ms. Melody La'Chele Bass transitioned from this life on September 1, 2025. Ms. Bass was born on January 15, 2004. She's survived by her son, Braxton E. Thomas, her mother, Karen M. Bass, sibling brother, Kolbey B. Barnes and sibling sisters, Ashley M. Barnes and Sydney L. Bass. She's also survived by grandmother, Bernadette M. Hill, grandfather, Arnold Burr, great grandmother, Bernice Johnson, nephews, Cameron Lloyd, Camari Lloyd and Raymond M. Bass (RJ) and niece Julianna Whitaker. Godparents, George and Theresa Petteway and Godmothers Alesia D. Burr and Valencia Bass and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
A viewing for Ms. Bass will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road Randallstown, MD 21133.
On Friday, September 26, 2025, a homegoing celebration for Ms. Melody Bass will be held at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road Randallstown, MD 21133, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow.
Immediately following services, the Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park.
