Obituary of Edna Camilla Scott Curry

In Loving Memory of Edna Camilla Curry (Susie) It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Edna Camilla Curry passed away and into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 27, 2025 at The John Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Edna was born to the late Lelia Mae Scott and Charlie R. Scott on January 18, 1938 in Royston, Georgia. Edna graduated from Gilmahndsan High School as Salutatorian of her class. She went on to complete 1 yr. of college. She was also educated and worked as a professional beautician. Edna joined the US Army and served in the Women's Army Corps in the Signal Corp. Edna married the late Lewis C. Curry Sr. of Cleveland Ohio and had two loving children. Lewis C. Curry Jr. and Cheryl L. Siler. Edna was known for many of her great talents such as her kindness, great conversations, an amazing cook and a tireless worker that will be greatly missed by all who called her Mom, Grandma, Ms Curry, Edna or Susie Q. She leaves to Mourn: Son Lewis C. Curry Jr., Daughter Cheryl L. Siler, Son- in -law Charoon Siler, Brother David Scott , Grand children Tamara C.M. Da Silva, Troy X. Siler and wife Michelle Thomas-Siler, Tatianna K.M Siler, Talin Siler, Siblings proceeded in death by; Sam Scott, Ben Scott, Angeline Scott, Jannie Harshaw, Carrie R. Harland, Charlie Mae Jones, Henry Lee Scott, Andrew Scott, Alvin Scott ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbors and a host of friends.
