Janet Lee Pettaway, age 89, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025, after a life well lived. Ms. Pettaway was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 17, 1935. She had been employed as a phebotomist supervisor prior to retirement. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Family and freinds will honor Ms. Pettaway's life with a public viewing on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Vaughn C.Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
The Homegoing celebration will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 4103 Old York Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21218. The wake beginning at 10:30 am and service to follow at 11;00 am.
The burial will follow the services in Oaklawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21224.
