Obituary of Harold T. Asbury

Harold Asbury was born on August 16, 1949, in Baltimore, MD at Providence Hospital. He was peacefully called home on June 12, 2025, at 1:29 pm, at the age of 75. Raised in Baltimore, he completed his schooling and graduated from Dunbar High. He attended Morgan State University and then was drafted into the army in 1969. He was a cook in the army for four years. He worked for the Coca-Cola company for five years. He worked at Union Memorial Hospital for 2-3 years. He worked at Towson State for 30 years as a stock clerk in the Physics Department. He met and fell in love with Ms. Phyllis Wilson, and they got married on June 1, 1987, and shared 38 years of blissful marriage. He was a devoted husband to his wife. Harold thought that when you have a wife, you are to respect her and never disrespect her and that is exactly what he did. He never disrespected her. He was a loving father to his one and only Daughter, Trevira. He was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his late mother and father, the late Florence and Harold Asbury, Sr., a brother, Percy Mitchell and a sister, Josey Fraizer. Harold leaves to mourn: Daughter, Trevira C. Asbury; granddaughters, Chenerra C. Copeland and Deborah D. Hubbard; grandsons, Elijah T. Asbury, Elisah T. Asbury, Isaiah L. Asbury and Devrice D. Chambers. niece, Tamara Mitchell; Crystal Mitchell (Percy); great nieces, Autumn Mitchell and Morgan Mitchell; great nephews, Percy Mitchell III and Carter Hickman; niece, Laila Hickman; Tracey Roney and family; Reggie Roney and Family; Sam Roney and family and a host of family and friends.
