Ms. Dorothy Louise Ashford, age 72, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 29, 2025, after a life well lived. Ms. Ashford was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 31, 1953. She had been employed at the Social Security Administration for over 40 yrs. She will be missed by her family.
A viewing will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
The homegoing celebration for Ms. Ashford will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Morning Star Baptist Church, 1512 Woodlawn Drive, Woodlawn, MD 21207. The wake will begin at 10:00 am.
The burial will follow the services in Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, MD 21207.
