Obituary of Junior Constantine Dunkley

Junior Constantine Dunkley, lovingly known as "Reds" was born on June 20, 1957 in Kingston, Jamaica. He was the son of Shirley Hibbert and Roy Dunkley. On Sunday April 20, 2025 God quickly called Junior to his eternal resting home. Junior was educated in the Jamaican school system, and graduated from Holy Trinity Secondary High School in 1969. He continued his education at Kingston Technical School from, 1976 to 1977 and received certification as a mechanic. In early 1980, Junior moved to the United States. His education, and extensive knowledge of mechanics afforded him the opportunity to obtain employment quickly. His employment career excelled, and he was employed with numerous companies such as Giant Food, Key West, and Penske Trucking Company. In 1983 he met the love of his life Janet Felder in Baltimore, Md. Junior captured Janet's heart with two words "Trust Me". For over forty (40) years that is exactly what she did along with her young daughter LaTonya Felder. From this union their son Sean Dunkley was born. Junior and Janet were married in 1989, and the two were inseparable sharing a love that was blessed beyond measure. Junior was a jokester with a beautiful smile, and made everyone around him laugh. He enjoyed a short retirement life. He loved to, travel, watch wrestling matches, listening to music, partying with his friends, remodeling his home, and working outside. He would help anyone and everyone who needed a hand, and was a master of his craft. If you needed a job completed exceptionally JUNIOR was the man, and don't you dare try to give him money for his services. Junior leaves to cherish his joyous heart felt memories, parents Shirley Hibbert and Roy Dunkley, wife Janet Dunkley, son Sean Dunkley, daughter LaTonya Summerville (Louis Jr.), and granddaughter Lyric Summerville. Siblings Juliet, Joan, and Collin. Nieces Jennifer, Jessica, Jene', Laresa and nephew Jason. Two great nieces and a nephew. Most dearest and cherished left with memories of Junior are his lifelong friends -- Keith, Patrick (Edna), Brownie (Shelley), Kenton (Sandra), Michael (Jean), Silbert, Earl, and Winston. In addition to many other family members, friends and former co-workers. Junior will be extremely missed by all who knew and loved him. A viewing for Mr. Dunkley will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. On Friday, May 9, 2025, a homegoing celebration for Mr. Junior Dunkley will be held at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with services to follow.
