In Loving Memory of Clarence Wooten, Sr.
October 26, 1947 – April 6, 2025
Clarence Wooten, Sr. was born on October 26, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late John and Sarah Wooten. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Ronnie.
Clarence was educated in the Baltimore City public school system and went on to explore a wide range of careers, a testament to his diverse talents and interests. Throughout his life, he found joy and success in fields as varied as modeling, cosmetology, real estate investing and landscaping. A true people person, Clarence was known for his charm, his wit, and what many fondly called the "gift of gab."
Clarence had a heart for home. He loved a good home-cooked meal, a cozy night in front of the television, and was often the life of the party. His laughter filled the room, and his presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
In 1967, Clarence met the love of his life, Cecelia — his beloved "Baby Doll." Married for more than 50 years, their bond was one of deep affection and unwavering devotion.
Clarence leaves behind his devoted wife Cecelia, sons Victor and Clarence Jr., three cherished grandchildren — Jordan, Avery, and Victor Jr. — and his sister, Erlene. He also leaves a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives were brightened by his love, laughter, and larger-than-life presence.
Clarence Wooten, Sr. was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
With love,
The Family
