Obituary of Damon Anthony Green

Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Norman and Ina Green, Damon Anthony Green was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought peace, joy, and warmth to everyone around him. A proud graduate of Atholton High School's Class of 1986, Damon was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and sense of humor that lit up any room. He had a lifelong love for music and dancing and a gift for connecting with others through meaningful conversation and genuine care. Damon was deeply committed to his Narcotics Anonymous family, where he served as a source of encouragement and hope. His sobriety was a powerful testament to his strength and grace, and he lived each day with intention and purpose. Damon had a signature sense of style — always sharp, always polished — and took pride in presenting his best self to the world. Above all, he was devoted to his mother, Ina, with whom he shared a beautiful, unbreakable bond rooted in unconditional love. He was also a loving brother to Kevin Barnes, Nia Green and Marcus Minor and a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews. Though soft-spoken, Damon's spirit was deep, curious, and wise. His unforgettable laugh could ease hearts and lift spirits, and his quiet integrity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Damon's absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will continue to live on in our hearts. Damon is survived by his mother Ina Green, his father Norman Green, his sister Nia Green, his brother Marcus Minor, his nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother Kevin Barnes. We find peace in knowing that Damon now rests in eternal light, embraced by God. On Friday, April 25, 2025, a homegoing celebration for Mr. Damon Green will be held at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow.
