A man of diverse interests, Palmer was an avid collector of sneakers, socks, hats, and polo-style shirts. He loved music, movies, and cooking, often bringing joy to others through his humor and infectious laughter. A man of deep compassion, Palmer prepared Thanksgiving meals to serve the homeless, reflecting his commitment to giving back to the community.
Professionally, Palmer worked as a substitute teacher for Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) and as an Information Technology Technician at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture for eight years.
