Mark Anthony Butler [also lovingly known as Spatacus to his closest friends] was born to Cornel Peter Butler and Louvaine Astaphan in Roseau, Dominica, on October 25, 1969; Mark spent his first nineteen years in Dominica and then migrated to Maryland, USA. Mark met the love of his life of twenty years, his wife Debbie; they were married for seventeen years, yet, he would call her at least ten times a day just to crack a joke and to tell her he loved her, a ritual he kept to his last day, he never got tired of hearing her voice. Mark's prime possessions were his children, Jovan, London, and Bianca; he loved and adored them. All who knew Mark loved Mark, and it showed when the news of his sudden death quickly spread among family and friends. The calls, the shock, the tears. Grown men in agony and uncontrollable tears over the loss of a friend who had given them so much love. Mark is survived by his wife, Debbie, and his children, Jovan Butler, London Butler, and Bianca Butler. Father; Cornel Butler, Mother; Louvaine Astaphan. On Friday, March 31, 2023, friends may visit the Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 5151 Balimore National Pike, Baltimore, MD 21229, where the family will receive friends from 2:00-2:30PM. Services will begin at 2:30PM. The interment will be private.
