To the family and friends of Bishop Michael Dean Chapman:
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth, yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13
Bishop Georgia R. Riley and the members of Deliverance Tabernacle Fellowship of Churches, Inc., headquartered in Hillsborough, N.C. humbly send our condolences to family, friends, and parishioners of our dear co-laborer in Christ, Bishop Michael Dean Chapman.
Bishop Chapman was a true pillar of the Christian community who has done sacred kingdom work for many years. In every interaction, he always exhibited a spirit of excellence and high character. His pastoral work has touched many in the Baltimore area but also extended to North Carolina and far beyond. We were always extremely blessed by him and the congregation rendering services at the Deliverance Tabernacle Fellowship Cathedral. To me, Bishop Chapman was a dear friend and truly a son in Christ. He was one who made it his business to uplift others through his words and deeds. Because of the Christian bond that exists among us, we too feel your loss at this time.
Please know that you are continuously in our thoughts and prayers as God leads you victoriously onward. We pray that God will continue to comfort you and bring peace to abide with you in the days and months to come.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Cor. 5:8
Warmest Regards,
†Georgia R. Riley, Min.D.
Presiding Prelate
Deliverance Tabernacle Fellowship of Churches, Inc.
