Q: How did you meet Gary? A: Gary and I graduated from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute high school in 1975 and he has remained a friend over the past 50 years. Gary was always willing to lend a helping hand. Recently, we celebrated our 50th year high school class reunion. Gary led the planning for this successful vent beginning in the fall of 2024. I am so happy he was able to attend the reunion and experience its success. May he rest in peace.

Gary and I grew up in the Ashburton neighborhood of Baltimore City and graduated from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1975. Always positive and uplifting Gary greeted you with a ready handshake and a smile. Returning to Baltimore in later years and raising our son Gary supported him as a dedicated and passionate Scout Leader at Epworth United Methodist Church. He was a key role model and leader supporting him to achieve Scouting's highest honor- Eagle Scout.
