Mrs. Raye as I called her and knew her like a mother. She was so kind with a loving heart and a genuine smile to all. I have know her since I was 11 years old (for 59 years). Almost, daily it was Mrs. Raye ‘s home where a group of us girls would meet in the evening with Sharon and Janie Little just from our homes to another place we called home. That home was where we relaxed and grew to be young respectful women. Mrs. Raye always welcomed us and we respected her at all times. Those were the “Good Ole Days”. She was a woman of integrity and we could confine in her with understanding of life. Her conversations were REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES FOR US. I will always remember her Genuine Smile Of Love. Mrs. Raye, I’ve learned from you, for my today, I am gentle and humble in heart and I know you have found REST FOR YOUR SOUL IN JESUS (Matthew 11:29) FAMILY, JESUS IS OUR PLACE OF REST.
